About Newell RO Launcher

The launcher keeps your client up to date and is the only way you should start the game. While it patches, it shows you what is happening on the server.

The launcher needs Microsoft Edge WebView2, which comes with Windows 10 and 11. If it is missing, the launcher offers the Microsoft download page. Already using Newell RO Patcher.exe? You receive the launcher automatically with the next update, and the old patcher keeps working as a backup.

How to install

    Download and extract

    Extract the client to any folder except Program Files, where Windows restricts writing. If you already have the client, extract Patcher.zip into your client folder: Newell RO Launcher.exe and Newell RO Launcher.cfg must sit next to each other.

    Run the launcher

    Open Newell RO Launcher.exe and allow it to run as administrator. Wait for the bar to fill: the launcher downloads the latest update every time it runs, so always start the game through it.

    Sign in with your account

    Click PLAY, then enter the username and password of the account you registered on this site.

  4. 4

    Create a character

    Pick an empty slot, create your first character, then type @mt to go to maintown, the hub for every service.
