How to Play

1. Download the Client

Newell RO uses the Ragnarok 2025-07-16 (English) client. Old clients from other servers cannot connect.

Download it from newellro.cloud/download.

2. Extract

Extract it into a new folder, for example C:\NewellRO. Do not extract it inside Program Files, because Windows blocks writing files there and the game may fail to save its settings.

3. Create an Account

Accounts are created on the web panel. See Create an Account.

4. Run the Launcher

Run Newell RO Launcher.exe in the game folder. The launcher downloads the latest updates automatically (maps, NPCs, quests, items) and shows the news and the WoE schedule. Press PLAY to start the game. Always start through the launcher so your client never misses an update. See Patch the Client.

5. Enter the Game

Enter your username and password, select the Newell RO server, and create a character.

After logging in

Type @mt to go to Prontera, the hub for every service. See Prontera NPCs.
