# Create an Account

Newell RO accounts are created on the **web panel**.

## Steps

1. Open the web panel and click **Register**.
2. Fill in your username, email, and password.
3. Pick a **secret question** and type the answer. You need it to reset a forgotten password.
4. Done. You can log in to the game right away.

## Registration Rules

| Username length | at least 4 characters |
| Email | required, use a real address: password reset codes are sent there |
| Secret question | required, the answer is not case sensitive |
| Character slots | 3 (up to 15 with a Character Slot Voucher from the Cash Shop) |

This address uses HTTPS, so your password is encrypted. Do not open the panel through an IP address, and
do not reuse the password of your email or any other important account.

## Forgot Your Password?

1. Open the **Forgot Password** page (also linked under the login form).
2. Enter your **username or email**, pick your **secret question**, and type the **answer**.
3. Click **Request OTP**. A 6-digit code is sent to the email of your account. Check the spam folder too.
4. Enter the code and your new password. The code works for **15 minutes** and only once.

Log in to the web panel and set a secret question under **Account > Security**. Without one, contact the staff
on [Discord](https://discord.gg/wbFrcEQqpW) (#support) to reset your password.
