# Auto-Support

Auto-Support turns your character into an **automatic supporter**: it follows a master, casts buffs,
heals, cures, debuffs the master's monster, and revives party members who die.

Great for a Priest, High Priest, or another support job accompanying your main character.

!!!warning Premium only
Auto-Support is a [Premium](premium.md) feature. Without Premium the Start Auto-Support button is greyed out. If
Premium runs out while Auto-Support is on, it turns off.
!!!

Auto-Support uses the same running time as Auto-Combat: 4 free hours per character a day, then bought hours
(25 Cash Points per hour). See [Auto-Combat](auto-combat.md#running-time).

## Controls

| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start / Stop Auto-Support (top of the window) | turn it on / off |
| Auto-Support tab at the top | its own row of tabs, see below |

## Tabs

| Tab | What you set |
|---|---|
| **Basic** | the master to follow, the heal skill, reviving party members |
| **Buff** | support skills, each with a target: **Master** or **Party** |
| **Debuff** | debuffs on the monster your master attacks; second page: cure skills for the party |
| **Potion** | Auto-Support's own HP and SP potions; second page: status cure items, for yourself |
| **Item** | Auto-Support's own buff items |

**Party** means the master first, then you and the party members in range.

Reviving has four choices: Off, Resurrection skill only, Yggdrasil Leaf only, or skill first and then Yggdrasil Leaf.
The leaf works for any job and uses one leaf each time.

## Master Requirements

| | |
|---|---|
| Same party | required |
| Same map | required |
| Master missing > 2 minutes | Auto-Support turns itself off |

The supporter does **not** change maps on its own. If the master goes to another map, Auto-Support stops.
Exception: a master who uses a **Giant Fly Wing** or an **Infinite Giant Fly Wing** (Cash Shop, 1-day rental,
never used up) as party leader takes the supporter along.

## Priority Order

1. **Revive**: dead party members, by skill or Yggdrasil Leaf
2. **Heal**: on the member with the lowest HP percentage
3. **Cure**: party members who have a status your cure skills remove
4. **Buff items**
5. **Support skills**: on the master or the party
6. **Debuffs**: on the monster your master attacks
7. **Follow**: keeps a distance of 3 cells from the master

The supporter only ever walks to the **master**. Other party members get help when they are in range of the skill,
so a party member who needs a buff walks up to the supporter. For a debuff it walks up to the master's monster, while that monster is near the master.

## What It Does Not Do

| | |
|---|---|
| Attack | no |
| Pick up items | no |
| Teleport on its own | no |

## Penalty

| | |
|---|---|
| EXP | no penalty |
| Drop | no penalty |

## Turns Off Automatically When...

- The master cannot be found for 2 minutes
- A party member in reach is dead and reviving fails for 10 seconds
(out of Blue Gemstones or Yggdrasil Leaves, or not enough SP)
- You die and nobody can revive you

If you die while someone in the party can revive you, Auto-Support waits up to 20 seconds and carries on once you are
back on your feet.

## Shared Settings

The Token of Siegfried uses the same setting as [Auto-Combat](auto-combat.md). Potions, status cures and buff items
are separate: the first time you open Auto-Support they are copied from Auto-Combat, after that each keeps its own.

!!!warning
Auto-Combat and Auto-Support cannot be active at the same time on one character.
